［経緯］
6月24日の11時35分頃に、池長大司教様より電話を頂きました。
たまたま野村が直接受話器を取りました。
5月23日付の「公開質問状」、それに対してお返事を頂けなかったので再度6月17日付でお送りした、「公開質問状追伸」、についてのお話でした。
既に二度、質問状を公開していますので、それをお読み頂いている方々への義務として、今回の大司教様からの電話内容は報告しなければならないでしょう。
そうしなければ尻切れトンボになります。
但し電話という性格上、聞いたのは私一人です。
勿論録音など出来ませんので、私たち（公開質問関与者）全員で、内容を共有することが出来ません。
従ってこの報告は、お話を聞いた野村個人の文責において、行われるものです。
咄嗟のことで私に気持ちの準備は無く、正確に記憶しているか、また正しく理解しているか、分かりません。
野村はこのように受けとめた、ということです。
そういうことがありますので、お電話の内容をメモでもよろしいから文書で下さい、と申し上げましたが、拒否されました。
本文は「公開質問状」ではありません。
従って前二回にお送りした司教様方へも、文書としてはお送り致しません。
ご関心ある方は、Web上でお読み頂けるでしょう。
但し池長大司教様には、Webサイトのページ（このページ）をコピーして、お送りいたします。
私が一方的に大司教様の言葉として書いていますので、不正確、誤解が、おそらくあるでしょう。御指摘頂ければ、直ちに訂正致します。私は、大司教様や司教様から、電話を頂いた経験がありません。初めてのことでした。
もし何も御指摘が無ければ、本文が大司教様の真意である、ということになります。
［電話の会話内容］
6月24日 11時35分頃、池長大司教様から電話を頂きました。
「頃」というのは電話が切られた時刻からの推定で、実際にどれだけの時間を使ったのか分かりません。
予期せぬ状態でお聞きしました。お名前を名乗られたあとの最初の言葉は、
「二週間ということだったので」
であったと思います。
そして、最初の質問状に回答しなかった理由を話されました。
「公開するということでした。非常識な人たちと思いました。自分を、非常識と思いませんか？」
いきなり大司教様から、あなた（方）は非常識だ、と言われました。
「私は間違いのない事実に基づいて話している。」
と大司教様は話されました。
野村 「ですから、その事実を裏付ける資料をお見せ下さいとお願いしています。」
「資料を出せないのは常識でしょう。」
「何故ですか。」
「私に資料を提供した人に迷惑がかかるでしょう。あなた方にはそれが分かりませんか。その常識もありませんか。」
「どんな迷惑がかかるんですか。」
「資料というものは、色んな見方があるでしょう。問い合わせたり、迷惑を掛けるでしょう。そんなことも分かりませんか。」
私は、資料の提出が出来ないという大司教様の言葉は、さておき、
「資料は別として、大司教様のこのお電話の内容を、メモでいいですから文書で下さい。」
と申し上げました。（それは冒頭に書いた理由です。電話の内容を私が正確に理解し、大司教様のご意向を仲間に伝えることが出来るか、困難なことです。）
大司教様 「私は文書は出しません。文書は一人歩きする。」
野村 「読売新聞で語り、カトリック新聞でも情報を流し、オランダのサイトには大司教様の文書が公開されているではないですか。」
これに対し大司教様は、「自分のものはいい、（ヒトに迷惑は掛けない）」と話されたと思います。が、この部分は、言葉としてよく聞き取れませんでした。意味は更に分かりませんでした。自分のものは自分で引き受ければ良いが、ひとのものは、迷惑がその人にかかる、だから出せない、という理解で良いのでしょうか。
最後に、
「文書では出しません。切りますよ。」
というようなことで、打ち切られました。
以上が、野村が記憶し、野村なりに理解したすべてであります。

Your Excellency,
I wish to thank Your Excellency for his telephone call of June 24 in response to THE FOLLOW-UP TO OUR OPEN LETTER dated June 17, 2013, even if, regrettably, it was a confirmation that Your Excellency has no intention of providing us with the documentary evidence requested by us.
Since THE FOLLOW-UP TO OUR OPEN LETTER has been displayed on the Web, which
is watched by the general public, it is incumbent on me to report to them
on the Web about the negative response of Your Excellency to that letter.
In these circumstances, I have made public the attached highlight record
of telephone conversation.
As I wrote in the highlight record, I requested Your Excellency to give us a written confirmation of his intention of not providing us with the documentary evidence requested by us, to which Your Excellency categorically said no.
This is the reason why I prepared the attached highlight record of telephone conversation based upon my own memory and understanding. Since I am well aware that this is solely based upon my own memory, I would welcome the close scrutiny and corrections to be made by Your Excellency.

I would willingly make corrections if so instructed by Your Excellency.

In the absence of any such instruction of Your Excellency, I would assume that the highlight record of telephone conversation is authentic.

At this moment, we are carrying out our own research of documentary evidence concerning this affair available from accessible official sources, which may be made public if necessary.

Your Excellency told me that the documentary evidence requested by us will not be provided to us because the source must be protected from any trouble. This means that the documentary evidence in question is some private information not publicly available. Naturally, a publicly available information can be made public without any problem for the source.

Therefore, I would like to conclude that Your Excellency once received a “private, not publicly available but trustworthy information” from some source and still hold it secretly. Is my conclusion correct ?
In closing, we would thank Your Excellency for his generosity and patience of reading through this letter.
May God bestow special favor on Your Excellency.
